Teen Vogue Summit: Change. The. Future.

Education

The Teen Vogue Summit will be held November 1-3 in Hollywood.

The Teen Vogue Summit is bringing an amazing lineup of industry leaders and celebrities, including Issa Rae, to Los Angeles.  Attendees will learn how to build their own brand, develop their social media presence, and grow an audience to help bring about change.

The summit will feature breakout sessions that are led by professionals in media, art, style, entertainment, etc.  The summit will also feature fireside chats, wellness activities, and performances.  This weekend event is a mix of a conference and festival.  Many of the discussions will inform attendees about how they can maximize their skills as the workforce changes.

“Times are different now,” said Lindsay Peoples Wagner, Teen Vogue editor-in-chief.  “It’s not like it used to be when people would go to college, and then become a lawyer, or a banker.  Now people can start their own company and come up with their own ideas.  Our readers are really entrepreneurs.  They have that mind where they really want to change the world, and our summit is really empowering them to do all of those things.”

One of the many themes is encouraged young people to stand up for what they believe in, and to understand that they can bring about change.

“We encourage our readers to feel that way about everything in life,” Wagner said.  “It’s about empowering our readers to use knowledge and tools to change our life and change the world.  We encourage our readers to be as vocal as possible, and not to feel like just because they’re young that they can’t make an impact.”
