Jennifer Williams and Jason Lewis exchanged their vows in front of 150 guests at the Victorian in Santa Monica.
“The night was magical,” Jennifer said. “I just want to relive it all over again. The Victorian was the perfect backdrop for our love story; elegant and sophisticated, yet modern and timeless.”
The couple nearly crossed paths many times, as they are both from Los Angeles. Jennifer attended Hamilton High School and Jason attended Fairfax High School. They are both UCLA graduates. They finally met at a mutual friend’s wedding, and they were in a long distance relationship while Jennifer was attending medical school in Dayton, Oh. At that time Jason worked at the Los Angeles Sentinel Newspaper and then Our Weekly.
Their black-tie evening wedding captured the class of this couple. They wanted their special evening to feel like a night out on the town.
“I felt like I was looking flawless in my tuxedo,” Jason said. "And then Jen walked down the aisle. I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw her in her wedding dress. She was stunning.”
Shortly after the wedding, the Lewises went to Jamaica for their honeymoon.
Jennifer, who is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Long Beach Alumni Chapter, is completing her residency program at White Memorial Hospital. She is an OB-GYN. Jason , who is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Beta Psi Lambda Chapter (Los Angeles) is the publisher of the Los Angeles Standard Newspaper.
